Are Turkeys Afraid of Ground Blinds?

In most cases I have experienced that turkeys are not afraid of ground blinds, unless they have been getting a lot of hunting pressure from them.  I have no problem setting up a ground blind in the middle of an open field for turkeys, unless I am noticing that they are shying away from it.  In that case, I will either tuck the blind up against the cover of a tree or brush pile and also use the brush loops to help camouflage in the blind with branches; leaves; etc.  But more often than not, you are able to just pop up your ground blind in the spot where you think has the best chance to intersect or call the birds to and not worry about spooking the birds.
